Variables Predicting Teaching Research and Extension Productivity of Agricultural Scientists

Abstract


The study conducted in Karnataka revealed that personal importance, organizational stress, job stress and job perspective put together contribute for 73.00 per cent of the variation (R2=0.7323) in the teaching productivity of the teachers. While 71.00 per cent of the research productivity (R2= 07121) was caused by personal importance, achievement motivation, organizational climate and job perspective.  In case of extension workers, 94.00 per cent of  variation in their extension productivity (R2-0.9452) was due to achievement motivation, organizational stress and job perspective.
