Studies were under taken at the Agricultural Research Station Gulbarga to know the response of different ultra violet (UV) screen protectants as adjuvants on HaNPV. HaNPV @ 250 LE ha-1 along with 0.5 per cent sugar and UV protectants like activated charcoal, boric acid and robin blue @ 0.1 per cent were found to record significantly lower pod damage and higher grain yield irrespective of application time as compared to HaNPV alone. Among the adjuvants, activated charcoal proved most effective, recording higher grain yield as compared to other adjuvants.
