A study was conducted in four districts of Northern Karnataka viz., Dharwad, Belgaum, Gulbarga and Bellary considering 80 extension personnel to study the performance of extension personnel on different linkage activities.  A scale was developed by following standardized procedure and finally 22 items were finalised for the final selection of the scale.  The findings reveal cent per cent of the JDAs belonged to high performance category whereas majority of the ADAs (78.26%) and A0s (75.92%) belonged to the medium performance category.
