Among the different insecticides, botanical and insect growth regulator evaluated for their efficacy, monocrotophos 36 SL at  700 g. ai. per ha, carbaryl 50% WP at 2000 g. ai. per ha  and acephate 75 SP at 750 g.ai. per  ha. were found more effective followed by chlorpyriphos 20 EC at 500 g. ai. per ha and quinolphos 25 EC At 500 g.  ai. per ha against Dusky cotton bug.
