Differential response of french bean and green gram seeds with respect to per cent of   germination, speed of gemination, seedling growth and field emergence was observed when pelleted  with different pelleting materials. French beans get affected more due to pelleting with fertilizers such as DAP and micronutrient mixture. Whereas in case of green gram, micronutrient mixture at lower concentration was found to improve seedling growth. Gum arabica (adhesive) and Kaolin (filler material) did not significantly affect any of these parameters in both the crops.
