The selected Singanodi sub watershed (Ag2m) in Raichur taluk has been identified as a high priority watershed among 187 sub-watershed in the sub catchment by the All India soil and land use survey. The priority tag assigned to the sub watershed indicates the degree of severity of the erosion hazard and subsequent transportation and deposition of a high sediment load into the Krishna river system. Among the thirteen  empirical relationships tested for their efficacy in estimating time to peak equation derived by Nash (1959) and Linsley et al. (1958) were found viable and can be applied for other hydrological similar ungauged watersheds.
