Correlates of Attitude Towards Privatization of Extension Service By Extension Personnel

Abstract


The study was conducted during 1998-99 in Haveri district of Karnataka State. Data was elicited from 60 extension personnel using pre-tested structured interview schedule. An attitude Scale was developed following scientific procedure for the study. The findings were : i) Out of 10 variables 2 variables namely; job involvement and achievement motivation were significantly related with attitude of extension personnel towards privatization of extension service. ii) Age and job involvement had contributed significantly explaining 20.36 per cent of variation in the attitude of extension personnel towards privatization of extension service.
