A study was conducted in two selected villages of Dharwad district to know the opinion of Home sconce Graduates and farm women towards rural Home science work experience programme.  The result revealed that opinion of farm woman (89.83%)  and students (88.75%)  towards Rural Home Science Work Experience Programme was favorable. Knowledge of farm women about Home Science activities was 65.72%. High adoption was observed for handicrafts (63.33%), embroidery (48.33%) and poshak (48.33%). Amongst the extension activities organised in the village, participation of farm women was high in home visits, demonstrations, film-shows educational skits and exhibition.
