Evaluation of different IPM schedules with sorghum as bird perch, IPM -IV comprising of HaNPV (500 LE/ha), NSKE (5%) + HaNPV (250 LE/ha), chiorpyriphos (0.04%), alphamethrin (0.01%) and IPM-III consisting of two sprays of HaNPV (500 LE/ha), chiorpyriphos and alphamethrin (0.01%) were found not only cost competative, but also socially acceptable, ecologically balanced and easily adoptable as compared to recommended plant protection schedule.
