Abstract

Correlation Co-efficient in maize revealed that grain yield of maize was positively correlated with growth and yield components. Among yield components correlation of cob length was significantly higher followed by test weight. Number of seeds per row and seed rows per cob showed positive and significant correlation with grain yield. Dry matter production at harvest showed highly significant and positive correlation with grain yield followed by dry matter accumulation in reproductive parts.
