Problems of crop production and their solutions at farming situations with participation of farmers under technology assessment and refinement through front line demonstrations were studied in Haveri district of Karnataka. Under Integrated Crop Management and Integrated Pest Management practices improved hybrid DHH-11 recorded higher seed cotton yield over local check DCH-32, during both the years. The per cent increase over farmers practice was highest in case of Integrated Crop Management practices compared to integrated Pest Management practices. Gross returns, net returns, additional returns over farmers practices and also B:C ratio were recorded highest in demonstration plot compared to local/ check plot.
