Agriculture, still is the only reliable source of food and fibers in many third world countries, despite all the advances of high technology. This study is based on primary data where farmers served as source. The study revealed that the district has vivid land capabilities to grow various crops. But farmers are lacking technical know how. Hence, there is urgent need to transfer package of practices to different regions of the district. Special training camps for women should be organised to impart training on different aspects as their participation is significant. The district exhibits ample scope for dairying with vast pastures and forest wealth.
