Certain facrors in the environment influence one's attitudes and values and these could be the cause for changing trend in the attitudes towards marriage. Although sex has not revealed a significant effect on value pattern (boy and girls differed in their mean scores) but nativety showed varied value pattern. Other factors viz., father's education, occupation do partially influence the values of present youths towards marriage.
