DSV-4 (9-13), a charcoal rot resistant rabi sorghum variety has been developed by following pedigree method using highly stable charcoal rot resistant source E-36-1. This variety matures in 120 days, stays green till maturity and yields 28 q/ha grain and 75 q/ha fodder which is about 27 and 20 per cent higher grain fodder yield, respectively than popular widely adopted variety M-35-1.
