The present study was undertaken in three taluks of Mandya district in Karnataka State during 1992-93 to identify the selected factors influencing the productivity of paddy. Data was collected from 300 paddy growers with the help of a pretested interview schedule. It was observed that out of 24 selected independent variables, 19 variables were having significant to highly significant relationship with the productivity of paddy. Further, all the 24 independent variables together had contributed to the tune of 74.38 per cent to the productivity of paddy.
