Marked increase in leaf area, LAI, LAD and root yield were recorded in radish with increase in the level of fertility. There was significant variation in growth and yield parameters among the varieties. The growth and yield parameters were also significantly influenced by interaction of fertility levels and varieties. The yield increase was mainly due to higher root weight and increase in length and diameter of the roots.
