Abstract
A field experiment was carried out during rabi season of 2003-04 to study the interactive effects of P, Zn and iron on yield and uptake of nutrients. Wheat crop (Var. DWR-1006) responded significantly to the addition of P, Zn and iron. The highest dry matter production, number of grains spike-1, 1000 grain weight, grain and straw yield were recorded with the application of 100 per cent P2O5 and 10 kg ZnSO4 ha-1. Uptake of P, Zn and Fe was significantly influenced due to P, Zn and iron application. However, further increase in phosphorus level (upto 150% P2O5) resulted in lower uptake of nutrients.
