A field trial was conducted to screen Subabul, Leucaena species for psyllid bug [Heteropsylla cubana) Crawford)] resistance from 1990-91 to 1991-92. The genotypes, viz., Leucaena collensi, L.pallida, L.esculanta and L.diversifolia though not so vigorous, have shown non-preference to psyllid attack and as such recorded low psyllid adult population.
