The study conducted on rearing performance of new mulberry silkworm hybrids revealed the superiority of MH-1 x NB4D2,  BL-23 x NB4D2 and BL-24 x NB4D2 over PM x  for all the traits studied, except denier.    The mulberry variety V-1 was found to be superior over M-5 in increasing the values of most of the traits studied at Dharwad, Karnataka.
