Knowledge of Field Workers on Display Type Visual Aids

Abstract


The present study was conducted in four taluks of Tumkur district in Karnataka State during 1995 to measure the knowledge level of Agricultura! Assistants on display type visual aids. Seventy two agricultural assistants spread over four taluks were selected randomly and personally interviewed. The most important display type visual aids used by Agricultural Assistants were specimens (100 per cent), charts (97 per cent), poster (93 per cent), bulletin board (89 per cent) and flashcards (80 per cent). Seventynine per cent of agricultural assistants were having high/medium level of knowledge on display type visual aids. Further, there was association between training and knowledge level on display type visual aids of agricultura! assistants.
