Single bullock harness commonly used in Raichur (local) and the improved one developed at Allahabad were evaluated on non descript breed of bullocks. Average power output of animal using Allahabad and Raichur harnesses were 0.55 KW and 0.48 KW respectively at 14 per cent draft setting. Animal was able to produce 14.58 per cent additional power using Allahabad harness at 14 per cent draft setting.
