Effect of Scion Variety and Time of Grafting on Success of Softwood Grafting in Mango Under Semi-Arid Conditions at Raichur (Karnataka)

Abstract


Effect of 14 mango scion varieties on graft intake was studied at monthly intervals. Average graft intake was maximum in Mallika and Khader, whereas it was least in Neeleshan. Irrespective of scion variety, graft intake was high during September. Mallika among the hybrids and Khader among the varieties were most suitable for soft wood grafting.
