L.K. Rudramurthy, B.B. Madalageri

Abstract

An experiment was conducted to know the suckering behaviour of curryleaf (Murraya koenigii Spreng.) cv. Suwasini to flat bed and trench method of media application at the vegetable garden, College of Agriculture, U. A. S., Dharwad. Flat bed method of media application recorded 43.53 per cent more number of suckers compared to trench method. Among different media used, bio-gas spent slurry exceeded all other media and it recorded 189.5 percent more number of suckers compared to control (with-out any media). The maximum number (25.89) of suckers per bus per bimonth were recorded in the media bio-gas spent slurry with flat bed method of application, and can be commercially practiced.
