An evaluation study on impact of Financing of Milch Cattle Scheme under Integrated Rural Development Programme, was conducted on a proportionate sample of 230 beneficiaries in Raichur district. The study revealed that there was a marginal increase in the possession of assets and family expenditure pattern with steep increase in the milk consumption. On an average beneficiaries under irrigated conditions have progressed well after venturing cattle rearing than their counterparts in dry regions
