Socio-Economic Factors Associated with Work Satisfaction of Women Workers of Cotton Ginning and Pressing Factories

Abstract


The study conducted on randomly selected 160 women workers of four cotton ginning and pressing factories located at Hubli-Dharwad twin city during the year 1992 to know the work satisfaction of women factory workers and factors associated with it revealed that majority (73%) of the respondents had medium work satisfaction. Only 'caste' was significantly associated with work satisfaction and the remaining variables studied did not exhibit significant relationship
