The investigation on nutrients needs of one year old drumstick cultivars revealed that highest number (117) and weight (5.24 kg) of pods per plant were recorded in selection 6/4 with fertilizer combination of 250:125:125 g NPK per plant. But the higher net return per rupees spent on fertilizers was obtained in selection 6/4 with 200:100:100 g NPK per plant. The uptake of nitorgen, phosphorus and potassium was 5.40,1.51 and 8.56 g per plant respectively in selection 6/4 with fertilizer dose of 250:125:125 g NPK per plant.
