The life fecundity studies of Spodoptera litura on groundnut indicated that the net reproductive rate (Ro), the innate capacity for increase (rm) and daily finite rate of increase ( X) respectively were 20, 2.4, 0.13 and 1.14. On reaching the stable age distribution the population of S. litura would comprise 50.80,45.97,2.82 and 0.41 per cent eggs, larvae, pupae and adults respectively
