In rain season under high disease pressure, seed treatment + 2 sprays with metalaxyl MZ (72 WP) at 2 g a.i. gave maximum disease control (94,02 per cent leaf infection and 96.07 per cent floral systemic infection) and helped to obtain 81.31 pr cent increase in the seed yield. The next best treatment was seed treatment + 2 sprays with metalaxyl ZM 280 FW at g a.i. which gave control of 82.96 per cent leaf infection and 89.19 per cent floral systemic infection and helped to obtain 46.26 per cent increase in seed yield. In post rainy season under less disease pressure seed treatment + 2 sprays with metalaxyl MZ at 1 g a.i. gave maximum control of leaf infection (88.13%) and floral systemic infection (88.19%) and helped to obtain increased seed yield of 75.11 per cent
