B.V. Patil, G. Thimmaiah, Parameshwar Hugar, S.N. Kadapa

Abstract

Comparison   of ultra low volume spraying (controlled droplet application), high volume and low volume spraying for cotton bollworms management was studied from 1984 to 1987 in Agricultural Research Station, Dharwad. There was significant reduction in the control of cotton bollworms and also in reducing yield per hectare in ultra low volume spraying when compared to high volume and low volume spraying. This was mainly due to failure of spray solution reaching the fruiting bodies on lower portion.
