The efficacy of fungicides against Cercospora canescens, an incitant of greengram leaf spot was tested under laboratory conditions. RH-2161 and carbendazim (MBC) completely inhibited the mycelial growth of the fungus whereas moderate inhibition was given by captafol and ziram.
