Abstract

Experiments were carried out to study the effect of three levels each of nitrogen (0, 100 and 200 kg/ha), phosphorus (0, 50 and 100 kg/ha) and potassium (0, 50 and 100 kg/ha) individually and in all combinations on growth and yield of garlic during 1987 kharif at the Agricultural College, Dharwad. A 33 factorial randomized block design was adopted. The highest seed yield (7.91 t/ha) was obtained with 100 kg N + 50 kg Pa05 + 50 kg KaO/ha as against the minimum of 5.81 t/ha without fertilizer.
