Two divergent Cucumber genotypes (Poinsette and Belgaum Local) were sprayed at 4-6 feaf stage with Ethrel (200 and 400 ppm) and OA3 (5 and 10 ppm) for sex modification and yield increase. Ethrel at 400 ppm was most effective on both genotypes significantly increa­sing fruit yield, number of female flowers and fruits per plant over their respective unsprayed control.
