The Tahiti iime budded on nine different rootstocks were evaluated for plant vigour in terms of plant height, spread canopy volume, thickness of stock and scion, scion : stock ratio, number of primary, secondary and tertiaryjbranches.leaf number and leaf area per plant. The beat results for the above characters   were  obtained on rough   lemon-Tharsa   (Citrus jambheri), followed by Citrus volkameriana and Rangpur lime (Citrus timoma).
