Equal participation of both men and women was observed inremoval of stalks and stubbles activity in maize production. With respect to physical load carried and load rating, more than7 kg weight is carried by women while performing removal of stalks and stubbles (8.02 kg). Further the distance of carryingload was observed to be maximum in dibbling activity. It is oblivious to note that majority of women have given maximumload rating while performing the top dressing of fertilizer (3.74) followed where as the lowest load rating activities weredibbling(1.56 ) and cob removing(1.82). With respect to pain in different body parts, maximum farm women (82%) wereexperienced the pain in lower back (3.59) while performing cob removing activity. While performing top dressing offertilizer, 52 percent of farm women were experienced the pain in upper leg (3.57) followed by, upper arm (2.97), shoulder(3.05).
