The present study was undertaken to know the impact of supplementation of natural fenugreek saponins onblood Estradiol, calcium and cholesterol level of menopausal women. Menopausal health demands priority in Indianscenario due to increase in life expectancy and growing population of menopausal women. The experiment was conductedfor the subjects in the age group of 45-60 years (n=150).Out of them 35 women were selected for dietary intervention offenugreek saponins. The mean calcium and estradiol level before the supplementation was 9.28 mg/100ml and 189.26 pmol/l which significantly enhanced to 9.62mg/100ml and 288.46pmol/l respectively. The enhanced levels of fore said parametersmay be also correlated to enhanced biological value of natural nutraceuticalsaponins and its impact on substrate conversionlanes. Also the cholesterol level was observed to be reduced from 181.7mg/dl to 160.6mg/dl. Due to enhanced estradiollevels. Hence, dietary supplementation of natural saponins acted as effective tool to reducing the repercussions of themenopausal health physiologically.
