Studies on management of mulberry thrips was conducted at the Main Agricultural Research Station, UASDharwad during rabi 2017. Efficacy of non chemical approaches viz., amalgamated plant extract (APE) (6 %), Lecanicilliumlecanii (2 g/l) alone and in combination with yellow sticky trap were studied in comparison with dichlorovos (0.02 %).Yellow sticky trap (one/ 100 sq. ft.) and sequential spray of L. lecanii (2 g/l) followed by APE (6 %), two sprays of APE(6 %) or two sprays of L. lecanii (2 g/l) on 30 and 45 days of pruning were effective against thrips and also improved leafquality and yield and were found on par with dichlorvos 76 EC (0.02 %).
