Thebackground information was collected by using self structured questionnaire and adaptive behaviour was assessed throughadaptive behaviour assessment system. The results revealed that majority of visually impaired children had average level ofadaptive behaviour skills such as conceptual, social and practical skills including overall adaptive behaviour. The factorssuch as onset of visual impairment and family size had significant influence on adaptive behaviour among children.
