Abstract
Twenty-seven advanced breeding lines of rice were evaluated for their stability parameters with respect to grainyield along with four checks viz. JGL, KPR-2, BPT-5204 and Mysore mallige, in a multi-location trial at three differentlocations of Karnataka viz. College of Agriculture, Shivamogga, Agricultural and Horticultural Research Station, Kathalagereand College of Forestry, Ponnampet. Through the stability parameter analysis, Among 27 advanced breeding lines includingfour checks, the lines KPR2IS 2-8-1 and MMBPT 1-11-4 had more mean value than population mean also had regressioncoefficient value was around unity and less deviation from regression. Therefore, it is indicated that these advanced breedinglines had stable performance across the three environments and it can adapt to the diverse environments
