Abstract

To describe nutrient status of Sigehadlu micro-watershed, surface soil samples (129) collected on grid usingcadastral map of the study area were analyzed for fertility status and mapped by using geographical information system(GIS) technique. Soil remain slightly acidic to alkaline and non saline. Soil organic carbon matter content ranged from 2.6 to 6.5g kg-1 i.e., low to medium and 82.93 per cent study area showed low in available nitrogen (100.35 to 420.22 kg ha-1), while 94.12and 86.2 per cent area soil remained medium in available phosphorus and medium to high available potassium, respectively.Sulphur status of soil ranged from 7.55 to 46.28 mg kg-1.
