Abstract

The results of experiments revealed that maximum per cent reduction of mites over control was observed inFenpyroximate 5 SC (87.56%) treated plots followed by Diafenthiuron 50 WP (85.51%) and the least per centreduction was observed in Dicofol 18.5 % EC (62.07%) treated plots. The order of efficacy of these acaricides based onper cent reduction against mite population over control was fenpyroximate 5 SC (87.56%) >diafenthiuron 50 WP(85.51%) >chlorfenapyr 10 EC (83.99%) >spiromesifen 22.9 SC (80.15%) >propargite 57 EC (67.07%) >fenazaquin10 EC (65.73%) >dicofol 18.5 EC (62.07%). The highest fruit yield (69.40 t/ha), BC ratio (1: 2.80) and the highest grossreturn (` 8,32,600/ha) was obtained in fenpyroximate 5 SC treated plot.
