Abstract

Potato is one of the important crops which belongs to the familysolanaceae. It has been recognised as the fourth major food crop afterwheat, rice and maize. The present study was conducted to investigatethe “Effect of integrated nutrient management on growth, yield andquality of potato”. The results revealed that application of Azotobacter+ PSB + KSB + MgSO4 + micro nutrient mixture + 75 % RDF (T13)recorded significantly maximum plant height (59.33 cm), number ofleaves (298), yield ( 21.5 t/ha), starch (18.47 % ) and leaf tissuenitrogen (1.85 %), leaf tissue phosphorous (1.36%), leaf tissuepotassium (2.83%) and control recorded minimum plant height(35 cm), number of leaves (200), yield ( 13.52 t/ha), starch (16.05 %),leaf tissue nitrogen (1.28 %), leaf tissue phosphorous (0.75 %), andleaf tissue potassium (1.32 %).
